Specialist Dementia Nurse for End of Life Care

Salary £26 565 - £35 577 (Pro Rata)

Hours: 30 per week

Due to retirement an opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Dementia Nurse for End of Life Care. The purpose of the role is to continue to lead the ongoing development and evaluation of the service. To work with colleagues to continue to augment and improve the care and advance care planning, available to people with dementia, and their families, who are at risk of experiencing difficult symptoms as they approach the end of life.

The post holder will be expected to consolidate relationships across the community and acute trust.

The successful candidate will provide expert dementia advice to Multi-Disciplinary Teams; provide training and education raising dementia awareness. You will have a commitment to change management ensuring high standards are achieved in Dementia care in End of Life.

Events / Community Engagement Fundraiser

Salary £22,128 - £28,746 (dependent on experience)

Full Time – 37.5 hours per week

As a result of a retirement, we now have an opportunity for a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our fundraising team.

With a proven track record of meeting and exceeding fundraising targets, you will be responsible for developing events and community fundraising activities.In addition, you will be responsible for seeking out and initiating new supporters through local businesses and other community groups with a goal to raise funds for Willow Wood Hospice

Working with the Head of Income Generation and Marketing, you will deliver income targets and budgets and also mold the shape of the Hospice Income Generation strategy.

Support Worker/Driver
Salary £15,404 - £18,158 (dependent on experience)

Full Time – 37.5 hours per week


Day Services at Willow Wood Hospice are expanding into the community. Our new community bus will be visiting a different location each day to provide information and support to our local population.

This is an exciting development and we are looking for a new member of staff to help us to successfully deliver this service to the people of Tameside and Glossop

The post is that of a support worker with the ability to drive the community vehicle; you will work within the day services team but will be out on the community vehicle daily, driving it to the location, setting up and caring for the clients that attend.

If you are a confident driver and also have good interpersonal skills which will help you to engage with the public then this may be just the job for you.

Part-time Coffee Shop Supervisor

Salary £15,404 (pro-rata)


The Coffee Shop at The PAD, Stalybridge requires a Part-time Coffee Shop Supervisor to work 2-3 days a week (Exact hours and days to be agreed but will include some weekends)

Successful candidates should have experience of supervising paid staff/volunteers, have high standards of hygiene practice and be able to work as part of a team. A basic food hygiene certificate and previous catering experience would be advantageous, however, training will be given if required.
