Adult Counselling

Willow Wood Hospice provides a free and confidential counselling service to patients, their families, friends and carers.

The diagnosis of a life limiting illness or the death of a family member or friend can be devastating and may bring about stronger emotions than you havepreviously experienced or expected.

For some people counselling can help with understanding the complexity of feelings they experience.

Counselling provides a private and confidential space to explore and make sense of thoughts, feelings and experiences without judgement with one of our trained counsellors. If you are eligible for the service you will be offered six to twelve weekly sessions, each lasting 50 minutes.

To find out more about our adult counselling service or to book an appointment for an initial assessment, call the Family Support team on 0161 330 1100.
