Bunny Hop

Last year our first Bunny Hop raised over £40,000 for Willow Wood - a fantastic achievement, and one we were very grateful for, particularly following the cancellation or postponement of so many of our other events due to the pandemic.

This year, we're doing it all over again, and are hoping that it will be even bigger and better than before - could your school or nursery be involved?

We're just asking for a minimum suggested donation of £1.50 per child, and for that they'll receive a set of bunny ears, a certificate of thanks and a Cadbury's Creme Egg to show how much we appreciate their support. We'll even provide letters for the pupils to take home to parents, along with posters to promote the event at your premises.

All you have to do is arrange a date and time during April for a Hop, Skip or Jump around the playground! And we'd love to see your photos.

Taking part in a fundraising initiative like this is a great way to introduce the concept of charities in PHSE lessons, and our lovely mascot Woody would love to come to as many schools and nurseries as possible to thank the children personally for their support following the Bunny Hop.

Our fundraiser Laura will also be with Woody and can tell them a little about how they have helped our patients and their families by having FUN and FUNdraising for us!

Of course, we would be very grateful for any sponsor money the children could raise - the suggested donation above only covers our costs. To make this as easy as possible we'll provide a sponsorship envelope for all the children to take home.

We'd also be grateful for any donations of Creme Eggs as these will keep our costs down meaning more of the money raised will go directly to patient care. These can be dropped off at our reception or any of our shops, so if you could pop one or two (or even more!) into your shopping basket it would be very much appreciated.
