Do you enjoy being outdoors and doing a spot of gardening? Our extensive Hospice gardens need a lot of care and attention all year round. You will be led by our very talented gardener Sophie, who will support and guide you all the way.
- General upkeep of the Hospice garden to a high standard
- Digging, pruning, planting, weeding, watering and propagating of existing plants within the hospice garden
- Using equipment safely
- Wearing relevant safety clothing (this can be provided by the Hospice)
- Using expertise and knowledge of planting
- Team work
- Keeping the front of the Hospice tidy
- Sweeping and maintaining grounds
- Working outside throughout all seasons
- Interacting with people who come in and use the garden
