Distribution Centre
The Distribution Centre is a large warehouse is based in Ashton under Lyne, and really is an Aladdin's Cave. If you love working in an informal environment, are willing to “get stuck in” and enjoy being busy then this is for you.
- Sorting items such as household goods, furniture, and clothes ready for distribution to our charity shops
- Processing Gift Aided donations
- Greeting customers bringing donations
- Promoting Gift Aid to all donors
- Assisting with clearance sales
- Labelling stock
- Moving furniture – this will require some physical activity
- Loading the van – this may include lifting and carrying heavy items
- Various hours and work patterns available
