Medical Director

£ 77,913 - £105,042 (pro rata) + on-call allowance

8 Sessions per week + on call

We are looking to recruit a Medical Director at Willow Wood as we enter the 22nd year of the Hospice.
This is a senior leadership position and we need somebody who cares passionately about providing the excellent care upon which we have built our reputation.
You will work with a team of special interest doctors, specialist nurses and a wider team of allied health professionals all of whom are committed to providing excellent care. The salary for the post is commensurate with the NHS and will be paid according to your experience. Your NHS pension scheme can also be continued.

Speciality Doctor at Willow Wood Hospice

Palliative Medicine

Pay Scale Specialty Doctor scale £41,158 – £65,954 Pro Rata
2 Sessions (1 day) a week plus on call to be discussed at interview
Applications are invited for a doctor to work at Willow Wood hospice gaining experience in Palliative Medicine. You will join our multidisciplinary team providing excellent medical care to patients living with life-limiting illnesses. Previous experience in palliative care is not essential as full training will be given, but if you have experience this would be advantageous. You will need to have full GMC registration, be able to work in the UK, and to have worked for a minimum of 2 years full-time equivalent post-registration. MRCP and MRCGP are desirable.
We provide a comprehensive range of day services including our START clinic, dementia nurses, family support and medical outpatients and the successful applicant will be encouraged to take part in continued professional development with our team.

Retail Shop Manager

Full Time – 37.5 hours

Due to the opening of a brand new Willow Wood shop in spring, we are now looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic and self motivated individual to join our team.
Under the direction of the Retail Operations Manager, you will be responsible for generating income through effective management of the sale of donated and new goods, shop budget, KPI’s, expenditure and volunteers.
With the responsibility to recruit, train and manage all volunteers, previous experience of managing a team is essential.

Retail Relief Shop Manager

Salary: £18,005 - £19,337

Full Time – 37.5 hours

Due to a promotion of the previous Retail Relief Manager, we are looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic and self motivated individual to join our team.
Under the direction of the Retail Operations Manager, you will be responsible for providing management cover as required at any of the Hospice retail locations. Covering annual leave and days off you will be responsible for generating income through effective management of the sale of donated and new goods as well as the volunteers in the designated location.
Previous experience of managing a team is essential. You must also have a full clean driving licence and your own transport.

Bank Cook

£10.34 per hour (includes holiday pay)

We are looking to recruit a Bank Cook - days & hours as per published rota (includes some weekend work)
The successful candidate should have high standards of Hygiene Practice, be able to work as part of a team and to have experience of working in a production kitchen.
Experience of working in a health care environment would be advantageous.
